Jim Lutz is Senior Vice President in charge of development for Liberty Property Trust. With over 20 years with the Company, Mr. Lutz has overseen many significant developments including the Eastman-Kodak pharmaceutical operation, General Electric’s Semi-Conductor manufacturing facility, GMAC’s Corporate Headquarters, SmithKline’s U.S. Pharmaceutical Headquarters, PNC Bank’s Philadelphia Operation Center and 1,000,000sf of offices for the Vanguard Group.

Jim also started Liberty’s England office. He lived in the U.K. for 5 years with his family while developing an 800 acre mixed use project which will include 2 million square feet of business development, 2,500 houses, a primary school, university, retail, golf course, along with numerous other community facilities.

Jim now oversees Liberty’s new developments in 18 markets averaging approximately 30 projects, nearly 3 million square feet at a value of $300,000,000 per year.

Jim is on the Board of Directors and is a founding member of the Delaware Valley Green Building Council (DVGBC). He holds a BS in Business from the University of Rhode Island.
